What We Do
N3’s Patent Pending intellectual property can be used to manufacture a feed supplement based on flaxseed to be fed to dairy cows that results in high Omega 3 milk.
How high? For dairy, 3% of milk fat or more. One ounce of cheddar cheese will supply 300mg of Omega 3. A TBSP of butter will supply 400mg of Omega 3.
In other words, the cows eat the flax so you don’t have to.
Other uses include making a palatable energy dense supplement for peak lactation, for heat stress, and for cold stress. And a balanced lipid profile (more Omega 3) will help your dairy cows stay healthy and pregnant.
Phase 1, initial R&D, is done. We’re now talking with prospective partners to optimize and commercialize the technology. So stay tuned, and soon enough, omega 3 dairy and beef will start showing up in your local market.
